The Intuit Dome is a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue that was delivered under a fast-paced schedule with ongoing design modifications. Drawing on advanced technology and deep industry expertise, our team collaborated closely with project stakeholders to efficiently review, coordinate, and implement changes. This proactive approach ensured the on-time execution and seamless delivery of more than 1,800 openings.

A state-of-the-art, 240-bed Navigation Center supporting homeless and at-risk residents in San Mateo County. Delivered in just six months, the modular facility required rapid coordination from design through installation. Our team provided Design Assist services, wrote the DFH specifications, and procured over 1,100 openings—made possible through strong industry partnerships and agile execution.

As the first expansion of the Kennedy Center for the Arts, the REACH blends the natural landscape of Washington, D.C. with three new pavilions to complete the living memorial to President John F. Kennedy.

Our team contributed to the millwork collaboration by providing custom doors, frames, and hardware solutions tailored to the project’s unique architectural vision. Many of the doors were oversized in width, height, and thickness—ranging from 3 ½” to 4 ¾”. With attention to detail, we ensured each door was seamlessly integrated and visually striking.

Sutter Health’s California Pacific Medical Center is a 13-story, design-build hospital with two underground levels of parking. Our scope included preconstruction budgeting and close collaboration with the architect, contractor, and end user to develop comprehensive hardware specifications and a complete door schedule tailored to the facility’s needs. Delivering over 2,000 openings.

Chase Center is a world-class sports and entertainment arena in San Francisco, featuring sophisticated architectural door hardware designed for durability, accessibility, and seamless integration with its modern aesthetic.

S&S Hardware supplied over 1,300 openings throughout the Chase Center, incorporating four distinct finishes across public and back-of-house areas. This included premium heavy-duty custom pull handles for 44 club suites and 32 courtside lounges. Much of the scope involved post-bid design changes that required rapid pricing and procurement to stay on track with an exceptionally aggressive project schedule.

Mt. San Antonio was a full design-assist effort, with our team engaged from early budgeting through final delivery. Scope included hardware specification development, complete engineering, and the supply of hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors and jambs, Timely® prefinished jambs, and hardware—totaling more than 800 openings.

The building is a luxury condominium residence within a premier 60+ community. S&S Hardware has a long-standing presence on this campus, including previous work on its state-of-the-art wellness center. The new building is seamlessly connected to the center via a series of enclosed bridges, offering residents resort-style living and convenience.

Grover Heights Elementary School serves the Grover Beach community. S&S Hardware provided over 20 openings to their new modern multipurpose building.

The Santa Maria High School project introduced a transformative three-story facility featuring 50 classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratory spaces, and modern finishes and technologies designed to support the next generation of high school learning. This new building also houses updated administrative offices, bringing enhanced functionality and connectivity to the campus.

S&S Hardware played a key role from start to finish, supplying over 200 openings throughout the space. This project stands as one of the largest we’ve completed in partnership with this general contractor, showcasing our ability to deliver on complex, large-scale efforts. Unique features included sidelight transom doors and custom-painted metal frames, adding both architectural interest and durable performance.

Shell Beach Elementary school serves the Pismo Beach residents and found a need for a new state-of-the -art multipurpose building. This new building serves to accommodate a variety of school functions, including assemblies and a cafeteria.

S&S Hardware supplied more than 20 high-quality door openings to this project, ensuring both secure and seamless access throughout the space. This project reflects our long-standing relationship with the district, a valued, client we’ve proudly partnered with on numerous successful initiatives.

Solvang Elementary School sought to build a unique Culinary Arts Building which would blend its traditional aesthetic with modern construction and the latest amenities for its future students.

S&S Hardware provided the gates hardware that begin your journey into the school and additional openings that allowed budding culinary masters access to their new facility.

Branch Elementary had a need for a new state-of-the-art facility with a fully equipped kitchen, a versatile stage with a versatile stage with a cutting-edge sound system, dedicated student restrooms, and a spacious multipurpose area.

S&S Hardware provided over 20 openings that allowed accesses and safety to the students and faculty.

This project was a design build mixed use student housing village. The buildings ranged from 10 to 21 stories with classroom, retail and office space on the lower levels. S&S Hardware provided preconstruction budgets as well as consulting with the architect, contractor and end user to understand the design intent to create a complete door, frame and hardware specification.

With S&S Hardware’s previous experience on the campus with the design build of The Living & Learning Neighborhood project, we able to deliver a complete project on time and within budget. Providing over 4,000 openings to 6 buildings.
